So I kind of left school. I didn’t know what I wanted to do. But when I thought about it - I was always into making things and working with my hands, just mucking around - you know. The old man got me into it. He always has some project on the go. I tried a few things and ended up doing some work on a building site. I worked with a few carpenters and that’s when I realised that’s what I really wanted to do. Tradies always seem to do pretty good. Now I’m doing an apprenticeship to become a carpenter so I’m learning a trade and earning as well. With the skills shortage they keep talking about, there’s heaps of opportunities. So I reckon it’s really good. It worked for me. I’ve got a solid future now. You should give it a go. Have a look around the website to see what’s out there for you. If I can do it, you can do it.
